Galvalume / GL is the steel plate with the best corrosion resistance. The aluminum zinc alloy structure of aluminum zinc plated steel plate is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon cured at 600 ℃ to form a strong barrier to effectively prevent the penetration of corrosion factors.Galvalume coil is a kind of Cladding Material,often used in Cold-Formed Steel Framing construction. 

Galvanized sheet is a galvanized product produced by continuous hot-dip galvanizing process based on cold-rolled steel strip. Q235-B steel or q345-b steel is widely used, and q345-a steel is also used, with thickness t ≤ 2mm and zinc coating z180. Low rise Cold formed steel buildings and houses are mainly made of Australian standard and American Standard in China:

There are two materials on the surface of aluminum zinc coating, aluminum and zinc. Aluminum is more likely to be corroded and produce extremely dense Al2O3. These aluminum oxides cover the surface of the steel plate and better isolate the contact between the coated steel plate and the external corrosive environment. Therefore, the predicted service life of aluminum zinc coating in indoor environment is far longer than the structural life we require, which can reach more than 200 years; Even between plates with poor ventilation, the predicted service life can reach 75 years.
